Tattoo Cosmetics Tattoo Cover Up Kit

I have a few tattoos that I have gotten in the past few years (one or two that I would love gone). A good tattoo concealer is pretty hard to find - I contactedTattoo Cosmetics and they kindly sent me a kit for review. They’re kits were originally designed for actors and actresses on screen and are now available for the public.

Now keeping in mind that tattoos ARE permanent - I believe its near impossible to find a product that will 100% cover your tattoo with a natural look. HoweverTattoo Cosmetics does a pretty good job at covering up small to medium size tattoos, I personally wouldn’t recommend it for use on large tattoos.

I used SHADE 1 which is the lightest color they sell, however they sell 5 different color shades. The complete kit comes with a concealer shade of your choice (it comes with a LOT, this will last you a long time), setting powder, barrier spray, two sponges, and a powder brush. 

Cover up steps: 

1- Clean the tattoo and surrounding skin with soap and water. 

2- Apply the tattoo cover with sponge (if the color doesnt match exactly you can add some of your personal makeup on top of the concealer for a better color match)

3- Sprinkle on the setting powder and brush over the skin with the powder brush. 

4- Use the barrier spray to seal. 

I was impressed with how simple and easy the process was and the barrier spray is awesome, the concealer doesn’t rub off on clothes or anything else for that matter.

After the complete process, my tattoo is really not noticeable at all unless you know its there and are looking for it. Overall I am very satisfied with Tattoo Cosmetics
